With that been said, let’s get right into this article.

The President’s 25th address on measures against the spread of the coronavirus pandemic witnessed new restrictions and protocols even though Ghanaians are expected to receive their respective Covid19 jabs on arrival of the vaccines.

President Akufo-Addo also made it clear during his 25th address whilst highlighting that, all Covid19 safety protocols at churches, mosques and beaches will be implemented with cinemas remaining closed.

However, popularly known Ghanaian broadcast journalist, Afia Pokuah who is also known as Vim Lady has caused massive stir, debates and arguments across all social media platforms after boldly reacting to President Akufo-Addo’s 25th address on closure of all Cinemas in the country.

With respect to this, Afia Pokuah of Adom TV and Adom Fm has recently reacted to the new restriction on cinemas as she claimed that lots of public gatherings still remain open amidst Covid19 pandemic.

“Ashawo business has resumed somewhere despite Covid. Oya! Make we open our cinemas”, Afia Pokuah emphatically stated.

However, during President Akufo-Addo’s 25th address on measures against the spread of the coronavirus disease, he made it clear that all cinemas in the country are to remain closed until further notice due to the impending third wave of the Covid19 disease even though Ghanaians are expected to take their respective jabs on arrival of the second batch of Covid19 vaccines in May, 2021.

Do you think President Akufo-Addo should open Cinemas and other public gatherings in the country as claimed by Afia Pokuah?
