Black Avenue singer Yaw Berk has thrown shots claiming that he was coming back to be an active rapper because he is tired of being suppressed
Speaking to Sammy Flex ,he stated he had the passion to rap for a long time but his label suppressed his potential and gave him the option to sing only and produce an album
He also clarified that he had been suppressed for so long and he didn't want to take it anymore and it was time for him to rap like best in Ghana
"I have always loved to rap a lot but after the Mtn Hitmaker show I was approached by Blakk Avenue who offered a very lucrative deal for a new artist like me so I didn't think twice and accepted it
Now few months ago I tried bringing back my rapping style to fuse it with my singing capabilities but I was stopped and asked to continue singing which broke my heart.
As you can see though I got a record label first I haven't been able to progress like my colleagues who didn't even have record labels then.I want to be myself now and get things done".
Yaw Berk has a new single out titled "won kwei"which is meant to usher his second coming gracefully with his rapping capabilities being the point of focus
Currently he is out of Blakk Avenue music and ready to hope on a new record label for guidance and assistance to promote his new chosen path
