Abena Korkor who on Wednesday 31st March, 2021, posted a video of her in a red sexy lingerie with the caption “Be confident in your stretch marks, jiggles and rolls" and was later called by the management of TV3 to inform her she’s being removed as a co-host of her show, “The Ladies Circle” with Anita Akuffo and one other lady. She has since then decided to start a YouTube channel upon her dismissal.
Prior to this, Abena posted several videos on Instagram crying and talking about the fact that her show is being put on hold because she was just being herself. She added that she has not be able to find true love or sustained a relationship for long because of her nature.
She made mention of the fact that some of her relationships had to end because her partners were ashamed of her choices and were embarrassed by her and she wondered if she was ever going to find true love.
She believes this is not the end of the road for her and she hopes to get new opportunities which could be working with Savage X Fenty or even starting her own show.
She went ahead to encourage her fans to be themselves and not settle for anything that require them to not be their true selves.
She posted again on Thursday, April 1st 2021, that she’ll be starting her own YouTube channel finally and provided the link on her bio with the caption “Let’s subscribe and expect the most exciting content ever”. I am definitely expectant of her contents. The channel currently has 200 subscribers.
I personally think her channel will be a very interesting one and her contents may centre around, fashion, mental health, relationship, intimacy, story times and maybe beauty.
Abena will for sure be a great entertainer.
