
Born Christiana Twene formerly known as Christiana Love when she was married to one of the famous Ghanaian Pastor Love and she got divorced to him. She currently known in the showbiz circles as Obaapa Christy, she is a Ghanaian Gospel musicians, songwriter and backing vocalist.
Obaapa Christy was born in Kumasi, the garden city of Ghana in the Ashanti Region in the family of 9 siblings. The mati Ase hit singer was a recipient of Gospel Artist of the year and song of the year award during the 2007 edition of Ghana music Awards. She was conferred with a National honor by His Excellency John Agyeakum Koffuor.
She has received several normination and awards from Ghana and United Kingdom. Currently she has released a new single titled " The Glory in 2021 and the song is doing well in Ghana music industry. Obaapa Christy today celebrated her last king, who is one year on her social media page with cute pictures of her and last born.
