Jackline Acheampong, popularly called Gyakie is trending worldwide recently. The "Forever " hitmaker started receiving major attention on twitter after Wizkid, a gifted Nigerian musician followed her. Gyakie twitted a message to appreciate the gesture and this became a topic for discussion on Twitter for many days causing a massive hype for Gyakie.
Gyakie recently released a remix of her beloved "forever" song, featuring Omah Lay which broke the internet with fans streaming the song in their numbers on all platforms around the globe. As part of this project, Gyakie travelled to Nigeria to shoot a music video. On the AM show telecasted on Joy News Channel, Jackline(Gyakie) was interviewed via zoom. In the interview, Gyakie recounted the great reception she got in Nigeria, the host of TV interviews, over twenty in number.
U.K. based Ghanaian record producer and singer Mike Quest said in an interview that Gyakie will be the one to win a Grammy Award for Ghana.
More recently, Gyakie have been spotted and recorded in videos chilling with Wizkid and King Promise amidst rumors of a possible collaboration with Wizkid after the former moved into his newly acquired mansion in Ghana.
Gyakie and her beloved fan base tagged on social media as " Gyakie Chan's" are all over the airwaves.
