Rebecca Acheampong was born on 15 August 1984 in Kumasi, Ghana. She is the first girl and fifth born of nine children. She goes by the stage name Becca. She was very active in church and school activities during her childhood. She had her basic education and secondary education at Morning Star and Wesley Girls' High School respectively.
She had an interest in showcasing her vocal dexterity at talent shows held at the above-mentioned schools. She graduated from Croydon College and became a child care and education worker.
Becca is by far the longest-reigning female artiste in the Ghana Music industry. She is also talented and highly vocal. She has featured many artistes like Bisa Kdei, Sarkodie, Tiwa Savage, MzVee, and many others. She also releases a lot of albums and singles. Some of which include; yes I do, be gye me, brother, time for my album, and many more.
Becca is about 13 years old in the music industry and she is still active and very influential. She is a signee of Kiki Banson's EKB Records.
Aside from music, she is also very beautiful and charming. She is one of the most celebrated females musicians in Ghana.
