Meet YPee and Bisa Kdei, who do you like most

YPee real name Andy Agyemang born 18 June 1996 is a Ghanaian hip hop recording artist and a performer. He is best known for his song “Meye Guy with multiple award-winning artist Sarkodie and Medikal. He was born to Charles Agyeman and Ama Serwaa Bonsu. He began music career at a very young age doing freestyle covers to songs from Sarkodie, Yaa Pono, Okyeame Kwame. He raps normally in his native language Twi with a blend of English and Hausa.

In the year 2013, he won Ashanti Regional best Rapper (High School Awards). He also won the 2016 and 2017 Artiste of the Year at Kumasi Awards Night. Kumerica is te new social media craze in Ghana and which commenced by some people from Kumasi , which is the capital city of Ashanti Region but now its has fully blown across the country. The Video for his song “Mey3 Guy Remix” Was shoot and directed by Salifu Abdul Hafiz and was on almost all the top charts in the country. He launched his maiden Album Survival on 24th December 2017 in Kumasi . His Album launch was attended by  Samini, AMG Medikal and Joey B.

Ronald Kwaku Dei Appiah better known by his stage name Bisa Kdei is a Ghanaian native solo singer and record producer from Eastern Region.

Bisa Kdei is the first Ghanaian artiste to break into the limelight with a movie soundtrack.

Musically, Bisa Kdei has had successful collaborations with top musicians in Ghana, Africa and the World at large. Some of these Ghanaian musicians Bisa Kdei has worked with include SarkodieD-BlackEfyaObrafourKwaw KeseM.anifestStonebwoyMedikalBeccaE.LR2BeesSaminiIrene Logan, Kofi Nti, DeeVS, Keche, LighterPatorankingReekado BanksLola Rae, Tach-Noir, JRio and others.

Bisa Kdei self-produced some of these collaborations from his studio; Chingam by Sarkodie, One of Your Own by Efya, Pimpinaa by Obrafour, etc.

Bisa Kdei has cited Nana Ampadu, J.A. Adofo, Dr. Paa BoboDaddy LumbaNana Acheampong and others as his musical inspirations.

In November 2020, Bisa Kdei’s remix of his "Asew" song originally released in 2018 was used as a soundtrack in Netflix’s 2020 Christmas movie, "Jingle Jangle"

Bisa Kdei has stated that he hopes to transform lives not just in Africa, but the rest of the world and above all, to raise the flag of Ghana and be one of the strong pillars people can think of.
