Veteran musician Obourba JA Adofo has boldly spoken his mind to his colleague musicians. He insisted that, during his time as a young musician, if they had somebody like Shatta Wale to fight for them, they wouldn't have suffered in life.
According to him, most veteran musicians are poor because they were cheated over their own talent. He however admire how Shatta Wale boldly fights with music critics and those who try to cheat him.
" I was very timid. Not because I was we weak but I was a big musician who is an illiterate. People capitalized on that to cheat me on so many occasions. If I had somebody like Shatta Wale by my side, it wouldn't have happened. At least he would explain a contract in Twi or Ga for me to understand" He said in an interview.
He urged the current crop of musicians to unite and fight on and shouldn't behave like the old talents.
