Mona Gucci's onua show was dedicated to projecting highlife to the rest of the world. She had two strong highlife artistes on her show - Kumi Guitar and Quame Zagi.
Kumi Guitar told the presenter about his life story and how he beat all odds to become a successful highlife artiste.
He further explained that he attended Adisadel College , pursued visual arts and was once a taxi driver . According to Kumi Guitar, he was once a rapper at Adisadel College and his rap songs were written for him. He later converted to highlife when a then original highlife singer was not present at his studio for some work. He expressed the fact that his parents appreciate his work because he does not smoke nor drink despite his work.
According to Kumi Guitar, he wanted to become a banker and so he was in the tertiary school when he dropped out to fully pursue music due to his greater love for music . He advised that music has really taken him to places but he wished highlife can be introduced to the Senior High School Curriculum because it was better to " catch them young''.
The Host Mona Gucci made it more interesting with her dance moves .
According to Quame Zagi, the old generation of highlife artistes are always available to mentor the younger ones to make some hitz songs. He however added that, previously a band was required to release a music but in recent times , a highlife musician and his producer alone can make a hitz song due to the technological advancement.
