Ghanaian highlife legendary musician, Amakye Dede has named his top three musicians in the country. Amakye Dede who has left such a big legacy in Ghana’s entertainment and music industry has chosen three big Ghanaian musicians which he thinks will one day take Ghana’s music to a different level. Amakye Dede revealed these musicians after Nana Aba asked him about his favorite among the new set of Artiste in Ghana.
The ‘Iron Boy’ singer revealed that his favourite artistes are, Sarkodie, Fameye and Kofi Kinaata. Amakye Dede revealed that these set of musicians are exceptional and talented to him than their colleagues when it comes to doing music. The 64-year-old musician has been in the music industry for over four decades. Born in Agogo, Asante Akim, he attended Agogo Roman School.
“If you ask me who my favourites are, I would go in for rapper Sarkodie, Fameye and then Kofi Kinaata. These guys are very good with music and they sing because they have a story to tell,” He said.
