Akwaboah is a Ghanaian popular songwriter and a highlife musician from sark nation. He was adopted and trained in the music industry by Michael Addo popularly known in the music industry as Sarkodie.

Akwaboah is also a producer from Mampong Beposo, he hails from Mampong Beposo in the Ashanti region of Ghana. He is a master keyboardist, he has played for a lot of local and international artistes including Hugh Masekela and John Legend and also has assisted several musicians to make it big in the music industry.

The talented singer-songwriter and a producer Akwaboah was signed into Sarkcess music, a record label owned by BET Award winner Sarkodie. Akwaboah wrote “Daa ke Daa” for Becca and “Ayeyi Ndwon” for DSP Kofi Sarpong, which both songs won their respective artistes’ awards at the 2010 Ghana Music Awards. 

He was subsequently being adjudged the “songwriter for the year for Daa ke Daa”. Akwaboah also produced and co-wrote BET Award Winner Sarkodie’s fourth album “Mary”. 

He was been nominated and won the 2010 songwriter of the year, he was also been nominated for best male vocal performance, In 2016, he was nominated for best collections of the year, with Sarkodie’s “Mewu” song.
