Ghanaian actress and media personality Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku has revealed her reactions on the first time appearing on a radio as a host. She screamed following her introductory remarks on the show.
“When I was made to host a show on Starr FM, I got scared because I had not hosted a radio program. I was nervous on my first day. I prepared very well but still did not feel comfortable. When the time came for me to speak in the microphone, I did. But I screamed afterwards when the microphone was off. I did not know what to say or do next.” She told Macbrown Kitchen.
Naa Ashorkor however added that, her producers in the studio encouraged her to continue but she was still not satisfied after the first time experience.
“The producers in the studio had my back. So as I was moving up and down in the studio they gave me words of encouragement. They told me you can do it. So I should keep talking and feel free. After the show I was not satisfied so I realized I had to be myself, feel comfortable and flow naturally.”
She stated her maiden experience had motivated her radio career and has enjoyed any other moment that followed.
