I did visual arts at Adisadel College and became a highlife artiste instead of achieving my dream

Quame Zagi was on Biribi Gyegye wo show on Onua TV show to share his thoughts on how to project highlife to the world . According to Quame Zagi, the old generation of highlife artistes are always ready to link up with the younger ones to make some hitz songs. He however added that, previously a band was needed to release a music but nowadays , a highlife artiste and his producer alone can make a hitz song due to the technological advancement.

Quame Zagi was not the only highlife artiste on the show . In fact Kumi Guitar was also on the show to empower the discussion and he gave up to date analysis of the current highlife trend .

Kumi Guitar is one of the best highlife musicians in Ghana . He explained that he attended Adisadel College , pursued visual arts and was a taxi driver . According to Kumi Guitar, he was once a rapper and converted to highlife at a point that a highlife singer was not present at his studio.

According to Kumi Guitar, he intended to become a banker and so was in the tertiary school when he dropped out to fully pursue music. He mentioned that music has really taken him to places but he wished highlife can be introduced to the Senior High School Curriculum.

On the Show , the Host Mona Gucci made it more interesting with her dance moves .
