The popular and renown Ghanaians  actor, Bill Asamoah has said that, with the current transition from Compact Discs (CD) to digital market, most non-contemporary producers have been found wanting, and rather than starve, they have diverted their monies into different businesses.

Bill Asamoah explained that, due to the falling state of the Ghanaians movie industry, some movie makers have now started selling mobile phones to make a living. 

Speaking to the host; Sister Sandy of the Ahosepe Xtra show on Adom TV, Mr. Bill Asamoah said he is optimistic that the Ghanaian movie industry will bounce back despite the unwillingness of some of the producers to return. He advised that, to revive the film industry, filmmakers must be made to know that, the digital space is a very good market, and that the transitions are inevitable.
