Kohwe reportedly suffered from stroke, according to multiple media sources. Many Ghanaians are heartbroken over his death.
Kohwe was popular on TV screens decades ago playing dominant roles in the famous Akan Drama series and District colonial court.
His acting career started in 1971.
According to reports, Kohwe who suffered stroke is believed to be around age 75. A few days ago, photos of the sad state of veteran Ghanaian actor went viral. The photos show stricken Kohwe sitting on the laps of an unidentified young man.
Kohwe’s final words of Oman Channel .He said: “Everyone would need help one day. And when the need arises, you’d seek assistance. From all indications, we need help, so help us.”
