As legends in the Arts, Music and Entertainment Industry depart from us, more ones keep coming in day and night to shape the industry to suit the current generation and those yet to come.
People from diverse background and all walks of life come up with wonderful and unique ideas to produce contents that stimulate the fun, lively and entertaining mood of Ghanaians. The words used in a particular musical content can remain in the minds and hearts of many for several years.
Additionally, some musicians have extremely powerful words that are capable of healing emotional distress and brokenhearted souls.
Some also have ingredients that can bring togetherness among people who for one reason or another have been disjointed many a time.
In other situations, words from a particular music can serve a fountain of hope and inspiration for many young people in the world.
When it comes to the Ghanaian Arts and Entertainment Industry, Shatta Wale continues to resign as a very powerful and instrumental figure. His works have raised the flag of Ghana to a heigher height, and inarguably, he is indeed, the King of Dancehall Music.
Apart from the great efforts he puts into crafting of his musical contents, he also has the happiness and welfare of his fans at heart. He is as close to his fans as he is to his dream in the Music Industry.
His rationale is premised on the fact that there is no way he can create any better music without the support from his followers and fans. This then makes his music career and fans inseparable.
However, as a public figure, he has been hit with a lot of controversies; some contain an aorta of truth while others are just intended to drain his reputation.
Meanwhile, Roland Walker, a Ghanaian renowned Media Personality and TV3 News Anchor has shared a story about Shatta Wale on his Facebook page, which reads: "My music is for the street guys - Shatta Wale."
A lot of Facebook users have reacted to the above story.
