Shatta Wale, a dancehall musician, reported that fans who were inspired by his call to contribute toward paying his GH2,000 court fine have already contributed him a total of GH13,000 to his mobile money wallet.
The founder of the Shatta Movement expressed his gratitude to charitable Ghanaians who had given as little as GHC1.00.
"Shoutout to everybody who have sent MOMO. I want to highlight that Shatta Movement has received funds ever since I first called for donations.
"Since the day I asked my supporters to send me money following my legal triumph, everyone has sent me money; I can't even mention names. Fans have been sending money to me up until now. GHC 13,000, which is not much between GHS 1.00 and GHS 10.00. I can see everyone who has sent me money, "
The musician, urged those who had already made financial contributions to anticipate a miracle blessing in their lives.
He continued by saying that he will soon announce his plans for the big cash that was currently in his mobile wallet.
"If you sent me even 10 pesewas and you know it, get ready for a shift in your life. You won't believe it, but as I'm on the phone, I'm considering my alternatives for this money. Shatta Movement, it's time to assess our situation. Currently, we have about GH 13,000 in funding. There are those that adore me. Is this not lovely?" He said.
