Opambour Prophet One And His TV Station Queried Over Content Shown On A TV Show

Revered Man of God Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom and his Television Station Prophet One TV have been queried by the Film Classification Committee over the airing of adult content on the aforementioned station.

The Film Classification Committee, in a statement, expressed dissatisfaction with the content, labeling it as inappropriate for free to air television.

The management of Prophet One TV has been served a deadline to furnish the committee with classification documents of all in-house content.

“The FCC is requesting the management of Prophet One TV to provide the National Authority with the classification documents for all its in-house content including the pornographic content shown, by close of day on 10th September 2021.” Part of the statement indicated.

Based on this, all media houses have been notified of the need to stick to the rules and regulations laid out for showing strong or adult content on television.

“Kindly take note that anyone who fails to comply with the film classification rules shall be subject to the offences and penalties in section 27 and forfeiture of equipment in section 28 of the Development and Classification of Film Act 935.”
