5 Radio Personalities Who Lost Their Jobs During This COVID-19 Season

COVID-19 have brought about a number of issues paramount of which is job loses.

The media industry is one of the industries that has been hit by virus.

Several media personalities have had to quit because their employers cannot pay up while other have been sacked because their companies are downsizing.

In Ghana several big names have been axed from their positions in various media houses.

Here is a list of personalities who have lost their jobs due to Coronavirus.

NAA ASHORKOR

Naa Ashorkor announced that she has been relived of her position from the Multimedia Group.

The talented Radio personality was host of Showbiz A-z and Strong and Sassy.

She moved from Starr FM to Multimedia.


KOFI OKYERE DARKO

He's called KOD for short.

He was host of the drivetime show on Starr FM.

KOD announced that he had ended his radio career and is going to focus on other commitments.


CAROLINE SAMPSON

Caroline was the toast of YFM.

The presenter announced her exit from the media entity through a post on social media.

She said her contract with the media entity had expired and she decided to move on.


Jon Germain

Jon Germain was host on Starr FM. His silky voice gave life to his listeners as he took them on a reverting journey of love.

Jon Germain also announced his exit from radio the same day KOD did.


Dj Vyrusky

It has been reported that Dj Vyrusky has tendered in his resignation letter to the Management of Starr FM.

According to the report, the DJ whi also works with events house, echo house tendered in the letter on Thursday.
