Of Shatta Wale's Post, Insensitive Post Or A Genuine Call To Fix The Mind ?

Dance hall artiste Charles Nii Armah known as Shatta Wale in Showbiz circles irk a lot of Ghanaians on social media through a series of posts on social media where he chastised Ghanaian and the conveners of the fix the country campaign. In the light of the deaths and so many other things that are happening now, a lot of people are really angry and it seems the post of shatta wale had poured more fuel on a fire that is already burning without limitations. But was shatta wale right in calling the campaigners disappointed graduates and educated fools who needed to fix their minds first?

Maybe those of us who have decided not to visit the barbering salon in other to grow our hair according to the number of days of frustration we experience may need to fix our minds. But the same cannot be said of those of us who have decided to grow our hair because we love hair. Similarly, not everyone who is calling on authorities to fix the country is a disappointed graduate or educated fool. Whilst there are a lot of unemployed graduates and educated fellows who have chosen not to do fraud or ashawo or use their fellow human beings for money rituals in other to get ahead in life, most people who are calling on authorities to fix the country are also doing well for themselves. Most of these people are employed and doing their businesses

The problem is that we take too many things for granted and it seems we take glory in so much evil and wickedness to the point that we forget what is right and good. It does not take too much for the anger of the youth to boil into things that will become unstoppable to the point where we may have to take the country backward and restart building again. Full-blown civil unrest is not impossible for any nation when there is a lot of angry youth. So most people who are calling for authorities to fix the country are only concern about the peace which it seems some people are taking for granted

Therefore it's wrong for anyone to rope everyone into one bundle of dance-hall tunes and call them names. There is too much death, especially deliberate orchestrated death needs to stop. Nobody under any circumstances or excuse has the right to take the life of another human being. It's the only thing that God does not even need the consent of the dead to act because the blood of every innocent person always cries out to God automatically.
