Host of With All Due Respect show on Loud Silence TV, Kevin Taylor has reacted to Professor Gyampo's message to Ghanaians who heckled President Akufo Addo during the Global Citizen Festival in Accra.
It all started when the president of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, was heckled at the 2022 Global Citizen Festival stage at the Black Star Square in Accra. Some Ghanaians 'booed' at the president when he was delivering his speech at the event. A section of the crowd could be heard clapping and chanting 'away, away'.
This has generated several reactions on social media. Professor Gyampo reacted to this and made it clear that the seat of the president should be respected. He added that persons who heckled the president should desist from doing such act again because it doesn't show respect.
"The position of the presidency must be respected by all, regardless of its occupant." He believes that persons who 'booed' at the president should desist from doing such act again" he said.
This statement from Professor Gyampo has been reacted by Kevin Taylor. According to Kevin Taylor, what Professor Gyampo said was needless. According to him, Professor Gyampo did similar thing to John Mahama. Kevin Taylor made it clear to him that he should stop defending this administration because the NPP government did similar thing to John Mahama when he was president.
