Birthed into a family of musicians, Ghanaian singer Gyakie is continuing a legacy of boldly African musicianship. She is the daughter of 80's highlife music legend Ernest 'Owoahene' Nana Acheampong but has come into her own as singer and songwriting, releasing her debut EP Seed last August.
In a short interview with Giovanni on Showbiz360 on 26th March, she was congratulated on her record signing to Sony Music label and remixing her Forever song with Omah Lay.
A musician is definitely inspired by something before composing a song. Therefore Giovanni quickly asks Gyakie about what gingered, motivated, or inspired her Forever song. Whether it’s a broken-hearted experience or a new love found?
Gyakie replied by saying, “my Forever Song Is a Future Manifestation of My Love Life so I am manifesting into my future love life.”
