Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has begun some good works in his first year of his second term as president. This has gained some reactions as people give opinions and reacts to matters governing the development of the country. One of the few places in the country who have currently seen much development is the Ashanti region. And this has mostly been attributed to the fact that Nana Addo gains more attention and votes in this region than any other region.
But this has on several occasions been disproved and denounced. The reasons for such great developments in this region has been attributed to the fact that this region lacks a lot of development and this has happened for years now and not in Nana’s time as President alone. A recent post made by Nana Addo was a post in which he was seen in a photo with Otumfuor Osei Tutu II has sparked several reactions.
These two have on several occasions been seen together at many functions and mostly during certain organized events in the Ashanti region. In a post by Nana Addo, he stated:
The project was a 20 townhouse construction for court of appeal judges in the Ashanti region’s capital, Kumasi. However, one of the most unexpected signs in these photos is the number of people who graced the occasion. There were a lot of attendees at the occasion amidst the ongoing corona virus pandemic and its restrictions. It seems Nana Addo’s presence is always anticipated by the people of the Ashanti region. Surprised Ghanaians who have witnessed these scenes over the years have stormed Nana Addo’s social media platforms given comments about the bond they share and how beautiful it is.
Can there be any grounds that anyone can base on to denounce the fact that these two great men of our land, Nana Addo and Otumfuor have a bond stronger than that imagined by many whiles considering the scenes in these photos and many others. Kindly below.
