The real name of Gyakie is Jackline Acheampong, she is a Ghanaian afro-fusion/afrobeat singer who comes from Kumasi and she was born on the 16th of December, 1998. Her father is a Ghanaian highlife singer called Nana Acheampong, one half of Lumba brothers.
Gyakie began her music career in the year 2019 while she was a student of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology where she is studying for a BSc.
In fact Gyakie is one of Ghanaian musicians who has trended all over Africa. Gyakie professionally came through in 2019 and her first EP with the title Seed and that was in August, 2020.
She first featured Bisa Kdei in her song titled Sor Mi Mu, in fact after that song Gyakie became a focus of the public attention. But right now her new trending song is (Forever) which is has featured Omah Lay who is a Nigerian artist for the remix, this song was released few months ago and the song has trended everywhere in Africa.
