"Too many of you are missing job opportunities because of the things you tweet" - Lydia Forson says

A video went viral last night and this morning about a young blogger on Twitter (Twitter handle - @BongoIdeas) who was denied an opportunity to take part in "The Next TV star" show on Ghone TV.

The young blogger had initially posted cruel things about Serwaa Amihere and Nana Aba Anamoah, who ironically happened to be the two out of the three judges for the show.

The blogger went to be auditioned for the TV show on Ghone TV and the judges seemed to have recognized him. His tweets on Twitter were read out loud by the judges. It happened that he was known for posting cruel things about people on Twitter.

However, the blogger posted a tweet this morning saying he is sorry for what he did and that he has learnt his lesson.

Ghanaian Actress, Writer and Producer, Lydia Forson, reacted to the issue with a tweet saying, "Too many of you are missing job opportunities because of the things you tweet"

I hope this serves as a lesson to the young people out there. Be careful about what you post on Social media. You can't say social media life is different from the real world.

This would have probably been a turning point for the guy if he was accepted into the show, who knows?

His own tweets were used against him and he lost the opportunity. What are your thoughts on this? Please comment, like and share.
