According to Kanye West, he plans to run for US president in 2024. On Thursday, the rapper, whose name has officially changed to Ye, unveiled his campaign logo on social media with the phrase "Ye 24."

West attempted to run for president in 2020, but that effort failed, garnering only 70,000 votes. The 45-year-old is currently involved in a series of issues as a result of his recent behavior, including a run of anti-Semitic remarks that compelled fashion labels to distance themselves from him.
Ye appeared alongside far-right pundit Milo Yiannopoulos in a video that was uploaded to the X17 YouTube channel on Sunday, November 20. Ye seemed to allude to Yiannopoulos as his campaign manager in the video.
The rapper and billionaire reportedly requested Donald Trump to serve as his running mate. Trump announced earlier this month that he would seek office a third time.
Will Donald Trump accept Kanye’s invitation to be his running mate? How well will Kanye's electoral campaign perform?
