The Ghanaian movie industry has come to a Hiatus over the years following the switch of distribution from CD/hard copy to Digital distribution that's Pen drive and online streaming platforms. The break of movie production has affected many people in the movie field which some of the actors have now ventured into different fields of businesses whiles some producers and Directors too have also done same. However there are some few production houses who still produce television series for some tv stations and Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin is not an exception, the actor has two of his series being aired on United Television ( U.TV) and also has one about to be aired on the same channel.
Currently Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin is on set shooting another television series and Ghanaians are very happy for his effort in trying to bring back Kumawood and especially trying to revive the movie industry as a whole. His previous series had the likes of Joe B, Dope Nation, Stonebwoy, Christiana Awuni, Ellen White, Fameye, Zion Felix and many more celebrities, but in his current one it featured the likes of Patapaa, Mr. Beautiful, legendary Paa George and others.
Over some months some now movie producers also tried championing the agenda of bringing back Kumawood movies and started shooting some movies, it raised a lot of issues among the movie makers themselves and it was left unsettled. We hope these new projects by Lilwin is able to bring some positive impact into the Kumawood movie industry.
