When many potential actresses discover that key players within the movie industry demand from them "bedroom favors," it hinders their ability to show their full inborn qualities. They set boundaries to not be exploited by any male. Africa stands as a place where advances by men to female is common.
What really disturbs the most and also infuriates the more, is the idea that bosses at the work places always wanting pleasure from female workers even when those ladies tell/insist they're married or not interested.
More often than not a cross section of females seeking employment in Africa especially in the movie industry go through some form of advances from these producers called bosses.
Responding to Fiifi Pratt question on Afro joint Program, the renowned Actress Gloria Sarfo indicated that, the generalization of producers demanding from young actresses pleasures is wrong although it happens. She stressed that if this impression gets out there young girls will fear venturing into acting. She said those in leaders in the industry shouldn't be saying things like that.
She recalled when a certain producer on set had wanted "bedroom favors" from her and three other girls but they teamed up and reported him. This was after they realised he has approached all of them demanding what he really wanted.
