Prince David Osei is a Ghanaian actor, model, producer, director and a philanthropist. He has featured in many Ghanaian and Nigerian movies, including Fortune Island, Last Night, Hero, Forbidden Fruit and others. He is also known for his comments on political issues as well as his affiliation to the New Patriotic Party.
Due to the brutal murder of Macho Kaaka, a social media activist, the people of the community organised a demonstration to demand justice for Macho. But in a video circulating on social media, it is seen that the soldiers deployed to disperse the crowd were firing live bullets into the protestors, which led to the death of 3 unarmed civilians.
Prince David Osei has reacted to the incident, he wrote on his twitter page that “aiming at protestors is a big No and what happened to the tear gas and rubber bullets. Like joke, like a joke we are destroying the peace, we enjoy as a nation.”
