Shatta Wale Fined 2K After Pleading Guilty To False Publication

The controversial dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah, known in showbiz arena as Shatta Wale has pleaded guilty to the Accra court for what they seemed as a false publication of news and has been fined Gh2000.

Pleading guilty to the Accra High court which was presided over by his lordship Essandoh gave the artiste a non-custodial sentence with a fine of 2k.

However, if he, Shatta Wale is not able to raise the said amount, he’s liable to three months imprisonment.

The story of the issue traced back to the claims made several months ago by the dancehall king to have received a message purporting to be warning him of an imminent attack on him (Mr. Nii Armah).

Essentially, the said attack was alleged to take his life. Howbeit, this according to the court was a lie told to gain popularity.

The artiste had earlier denied the charges or the claims concerning the fake publications.

As a result, this becomes a shocking to many people on why he pleaded guilty now.
