In Ghana, discrimination against women who are ripe for marriage but single rears its head in every aspect of life. Although getting married isn't the only fulfilment a woman has to make,they are mostly looked down upon when they are "over riped" for marriage especially celebrities.

In Ghana,there is perception that if a lady doesn't get married on time she will be unattractive to possible suitors hence the famous question pops up "When do you intend to get married"

In this article we will look at celebrities who are trolled for being "single"

1. Nana Aba Anamoah

Nana Aba Anamoah is one of the celebrities who have been attacked for being single.

The mother of one has expressed displeasure on several platforms about how she is being trolled for being single

She once said "If someone ask me when will I get married I ask when are you going to die" .

Although she has plans of settle down she will do that when the time is right

2. Serwaah Amihere

The popular GHOne TV's newscaster has joined the list of celebrities who are still single

On March 8,2021 which was on her birthday, social media users drew attention to her age since she wasn't getting younger anymore

Being irritated by such comments she was captured saying "Everyday go and marry! As though it was the most important thing in life. You I'll be pushing women to end up in unhappy and abusive marriages"

3. Deloris-Frimpong Manso ( Delay)

The popular tv personality has also received a lot of pressure from society and the media for being single.

But she has emphatically stated she is waiting for her right choice of man even though she is 38 years old.
