Tv3's flagship music reality show Mentor "Takes You Higher" has unveiled it final 16 contestants last night who are going to battle it all out the musical way for 13 weeks for the prestigious bragging rights.
And not only the bragging rights, but also at stake for the ultimate winner for this season is a brand new vehicle, two mastered songs and GH¢50,000 worth of airtime across all Media General platforms – radio, television and digital.
The first runner-up will walk away with GH¢10,000 cash amount in addition to one mastered song and GH¢40,000 worth of airtime across all Media General platforms.
The package for the second runner-up includes GH¢8,000 cash amount, one mastered song and GH¢30,000 worth of airtime across all Media General platforms.
The third runner-up will receive GH¢5,000 cash amount, one mastered song and GH¢20,000 worth of airtime.
The 16 contestants will undergo the mentorship of four talented celebrities who have the musical ears and the expertise. These mentors as well will be serving as judges on the show for the period of 13 weeks the will be in progress.
The mentors are; The Volta Region president Edem(Rep of Northern Zone), The sensational Adina(Rep of South Western Zone), The legendary Bessa Simons( Rep of Middle Zone) and The ever green and baddest music producer Appietus(Rep of South Eastern Zone).
Here are the 16 contestants who were chosen among a myriad of amateur singers and rapper who came through for the auditions in the respective zones:

This year's mentor promises to be better, more intriguing and competitive that last year's taking from the perspective of how tough it was on the parts of the four judges to opt for the best 16 contestants from the best 21 who made it to the boot camp.
