The Mystery Of The Scriptures

ROMANS 16: 25

Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, (KJV)

The scriptures comprise of the books of Moses, the Psalms and the prophets which are all the Old Testament books. The main content of the prophecies of the prophets of the Old Testaments were the sufferings of Christ and the glory that will follow. They were to prophesy about what Christ will do and the blessings of the man in Christ. A prophet of the Old Testament is considered great to the extent of how far he prophesies about Christ sufferings and glorification. John the Baptist was considered as the greatest of the Old Testament prophets because he was able to identify Christ in person and introduce Christ to Israel.

The scriptures contain prophecies, promises, parables, symbols, typologies, feasts, events, experiences, visions and riddles that communicates the message of Christ. Christ was communicated in a mystery. Mystery requires explanations or revelation to understand. This means that the prophets did not have a full understanding of their prophecies. Some could not accurately interpret their experiences or visions. Some of their prophecies were influenced by their assumptions or ignorance.

It is in the epistles that we have the accurate and perfect explanations or revelations of the mystery of the scriptures. The epistles are the decoded form of the coded scriptures. The message in the epistles is not different from that of the prophets. The difference is that the words of the prophets or the scriptures were communicated in a mystery and the epistles are the revelations of the mystery of the scriptures. Anybody who studies the scriptures well will get the same revelation in the epistles penned down for us by the apostles.

CONFESSION: I have an accurate revelation of the mystery of the scriptures.
