Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., is a Ghanaian reggae-dancehall artist. He is known by his stage name Shatta Wale, formerly Bandana. He is also known as the African Dancehall King. Shatta Wale is a controversial artist in Ghana who has almost beefed with almost all the popular artists in Ghana.
Aside from his controversiality, Shatta Wale is very tolerant and will not allow others to cheat him so a lot of people know him to be very rude.In 2014, Shatta Wale was nominated for the Maiden GN Bank Awards He was also named the 38th Most Influential Ghanaian by E-TV Ghana in 2015 in their annual survey of influential people in Ghana. He is currently the most Awarded Dancehall artist in Africa and one of the most awarded dancehall artist in the world.
Recently, Shatta Wale had been seen in a photo of him kneeling in from of Nicholas Duncan Williams receiving prayers. What most people are saying is that Shatta Wale is now ready to receive Christ as his Lord and personal saviour. Most importantly, prayer is very good to strengthen one's spirit so all those saying Shatta Wale is a hypocrite should take such a mentality from their head.
He may be a dancehall artist but that doesn't make him a bad person. He also has the right to be called a child of God so what is wrong if he receives prayer from a man of God?.
