The music icon: Kidi's life story

Kidi born on August 18,1993 is a Ghanaian musician and singer. His parents are Gerald and Beatrice Thompson. He received his basic education at St. Anthony's school in Accra and proceeded to Accra academy for his senior high school education. He then proceeded to Ghana legon university where he graduated in 2016 with a degree in Economics and information studies.

He was born Dennis Nana Dwamena. He is signed to Lyn Entertainment and popularly known for his singe Odo. While studying Economics and information studies at university of Legon, he loved music very much. His love for music caused to perform on various platforms. He performed on various "moonlight Cafe", a production that supports underground artiste. He started as an underground artiste.

In 2015, kidi joined the MTN hit maker and went ahead to win the competition and was later signed to Lynx Entertainment. Kidi shot to prominence in 2017 when he produced and released his single 'Say You Love Me'. Kidi established himself as one of Ghana's best artiste and singer.

Kidi received six nominations in the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards; best new Artiste, Male vocalist of the year etc.
