He was born and brought up in the Ga land in the Greater Accra region of Ghana.
Actor, producer and Politician. John Kofi Dumelo basically have everything about Accra in him. From his basic education to up the University , he attended them in the southern part of the country. John Dumelo is an Ewe man. He is from the Ewe land and next time you meet him, you might want to say a word in Ewe to him.
Jackie Akosua Agyemang Appiah is her full name. Judging from her name, you may have a correct guess of her race. She an an Ashanti lady. Though a Canadian born Ghanaian, she has an Ashanti blood on her.
R2BEES are twin brothers who have written history in the Ghanaian music industry. With their fluency in the Ashanti dialect ( TWI) , many people do mistake them to be Ashantis or Fantis. The twins were born and raised in TEMA , Accra but they are Northerners. Yes they are proud Dagombas who hail from the Norther region of Ghana.
The Rapper has lived all his life in TEMA Accra but he is an Ashanti and hails from the Kumerican part of the country. No wonder how he plays with the twi in his songs.
If you don’t know Nadia, you may even think she isn’t African because of her colour and accent in the English language. The Ghanaian actress is loved by many people because of her roles in movies. Nadia Buari is a Northerner but was born and raised in Tarkoradi the Western region of Ghana. She is the daughter of popular Ghanaian music producer Alhaji Sidiku Buari.
