
Ghanaian rapper, Yaa Pono has disclosed why he has not been active in the music industry recently.
In an interview with one of the programs on TV3, "Warm Up Plus" the rapper tells what he's been up to in his absence from the music industry.
According to Yaa Pono, he's focused on good and perfect songs. Yaa Pono said he did a song with Efya titled "Good Morning" years ago and the song feels like it was released today the last time he was watching the video of the song.
He also said his song, "Amen" is older than many people but when the song is being played, it feels very new. The rapper said he wants his songs to be relevant for years.
Yaa Pono shared what it takes for one to produce relevant songs. Says doing music in this era is very difficult as one has to think deep. He said that's what he did to produce his "1997" song.
