St. Augustine College is a boys' boarding school in Ghana established in 1930 by Roman Catholic.
The institution was established to provide training and serve as a seminary. The school was named after St. Augustine of Hippo(354- 450 AD).
The school has its motto as "Omnia Vincit Labor" meaning "Perseverance conquers all".
With many victories in the National Science and Maths Quiz , the school has become famous. Many would feel honoured to be noted as a student of the school.
The school has produced a lot of notable alumni in our country . They have become famous and great.
The following are notable men who are proud to be old students of Augusco.
1. Paa Kwesi Ndoum
Founder of the Groupe Ndoum and was the presidential candidate for Progressive People Party ( PPP) . First Ghanaian to establish a bank in the states.
2. Nathaniel Attoh
A sports editor at Joy News and international boxing ring announcer.
Ghanaian actor who has starred in both Ghanaian and Nigerian movies.
4. Michael Essien
Former Chelsea and Black Stars midfielder.
5. Kojo Yankson
News anchor on Joy News and notable journalist.
6. Junior Agogo
Former Black Stars and Nottingham Forest striker.
7. Sammy Awuku
National Organiser for NPP and board chairman for Youth Employment Agency (YEA). Former Deputy Communications Director and National Youth Organiser.
8. Mark Okraku Mantey
Manager at Hitz FM , CEO of Slip Music and Programmes and a notable individual in music and arts industry.
9. Ben Brako
Highlife legend.
10. Bryan the Mensah
A rising young artiste.
11. Eddie Khae
A young artiste and the "Do the dance" hitmaker.
Augusco is a great school indeed for producing such great persons .
