Apart from being a musician, I also have a coconut farm - Rocky Dawuni

Rocky Dawuni, Ghana's two-time Grammy-nominated Afro Roots Star, has recently shown his support for agriculture in an interview with TV3's New Day Show.

According to Rocky Dawuniin addition to being an entertainer, he runs a coconut farm, a mixed vegetable farm, a cocoa plantation, and other businesses. In his economic theory, he quotes Adam Smith, saying, "Land is the most essential thing." So, once you have land, you can build whatever you want on it.

"I am a firm believer in agriculture," he says, adding that farming is beneficial to mental health. He also stressed the restorative benefits of working in a garden with plants.

"These days, all the food is being blended with chemicals, harmful substances...," he says, emphasizing food sovereignty. They'll look great, but you'll have no idea what chemicals you're consuming."

He is a firm believer in encouraging people to reclaim their food sovereignty. Rocky Dawuni congratulated all farmers for their significant contributions to Ghana's economic progress.
