Recently, Ghanaian singer, King Promise had a hung out session with Nigeria's International music Icon Burnaboy in Nigeria.
Gregory Bortey Newman who goes by the stage name King Promise and Burnaboy whose birth named is Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, a Nigerian song writer and musician, has been seen in a photo circulating on social media sites having a fun time together.
Should this cause fans of King Promise to believe that there could be a possible collaboration being cooked up between the two musicians?
Perhaps. However, there would certainly be a business meeting after the fun time, because musicians do not often embark on such journeys just for the fun of it.
Burnaboy is a Grammy award winning Music Act who can certainly bring much positive influence in King Promise's music career and vice versa.
Moreover, the two musicians share similarities in their choice of musical genres. Both of them make music around the following musical genres: Afrobeat, Hip-hop and R&B. Even though Burnaboy additionally is an Afro-fusion and Dancehall musician whereas King Promise also adds to his music genres highlife.
So possibly, something good could spring forth from this meeting.
Lets keep our fingers crossed.
