Hushpuppi, a Nigerian scammer, will be honored in the series published by 50 Cents

50 Cent, an American rapper and film producer, has announced plans to release a series of films based on the life of notorious Nigerian fraud boss Hushpuppi.

Ramon Abass, better known as Hushpuppi, was a well-known fraudster until his arrest in Dubai in June 2020. Hushpuppi amassed his fortune by defrauding more than 1.9 million people, mostly Americans, at his peak.

On Monday, Hushpuppi was sentenced to 11 years and three months in prison by the US District Court for the Central District of California after being found guilty of money laundering of a school funding scam, hacking business emails and other fraudulent computer conspiracies.

50 Cent posted photos of Hushpuppi on Instagram and announced plans to make a movie based on his life story.

He said he was filming for the crooks. "I have to do this for my crooks." Hushpuppi series will start soon! I don't remember GLG, Green Light Gang. "#Bransoncognac #lecheminduroi #gunitfilmandtv," the GUnit Records founder captioned the photo.
