“There are people who can't afford the dress you wear, so they develop high blood pressure when they see you dressed,” she fumed.
“If you give them the dress, they'll wear it,” she said, “but since the individual doesn't have what you're wearing, they're criticizing it.”
“However, if the individual had any, they could see how beautiful it is, so I do give away most of the dress I wear to my fans from time to time,” Empress Gifty added.
Empress Gifty revealed that most of her lavish gowns are offered as gifts to her fans after she wears them in an exclusive interview with Amansan Krakye on Kastle FM in Cape Coast, which was broadcast live on MyNewsGh.com.
“It is a natural thing for me to do,” she added, “so maybe a dress that I wore to some music awards or a major program, when I'm finished, I search for who may be wearing the same size of the dress and give it away for free to anyone who may need it.”
“I do it all the time, so I don't see anything wrong with it,” she concluded.
Empress Gifty is a renowned gospel musician and the wife of Ghanaian politician Mr. Hopeson Adorye.
