Former wrestler turned actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson seems to be flirting around the idea of running for the office of the President of the United States, in an exclusive interview on The Today Show, the actor made it known that if that is what the people want, then he will run for the office, in his words he said;
“I do have that goal to unite our country and I also feel that if this is what the people want, then I will do that,”
Alot of fans have anticipated this big speech from the actor who always kept his intentions to run for the office to himself, and according to a statistics carried out, it was discovered that 46% of Americans would vote for the much loved actor who is one of the highest-paid actor in the US. Dwayne is definitely not the first actor to direct his attention at a political office, Arnold Schwarzenegger was the Governor of California, Donald Trump was also the main star of "The Apprentice" and he became president.
Although he has not revealed what party he would join if he ever wished to run for office, but hopes are high as eyes are fixed on the 48-year who has been running an underground campaign with his movie "Young Rock", where he is addressed as an aspiring Presidential candidate. The "Black Adam" star definitely has alot on his mind these coming years.
