Ghanaian actress and brand influencer Akuapem Poloo says that Ghanaians will repeat exactly what they did to young drill rapper Yaw Tog to Black Sherif looking at how he is being hyped.
Black Sherif has released a new song that is taking over the world’s digital stream platforms so quickly that it has become the number one most Shazammed song across the world by April 7, 2022.
The song which is titled ‘Kwaku The Traveler’ speaks about the rapper’s experiences and a few musical twists to get it to its final destination and that is undoubtedly where it is now.
Touching on the matter, Akuapem Poloo says, unlike Nigerians who are very supportive of their own from start to finish, Ghanaians are only good at hyping you when new material is out, and aside from that, you’re on your own.
She said a typical example of these actions is seen in the career of Yaw Tog and Gyakie who were hyped so much that everyone thinks they will be on top of the world by now.
