The whole issue started when a follower tweeted that Burna Boy is going to leave the Nigeria twitter space soon for them (apparently referring to his critics).
To which he replied that he was not even a Nigerian artist and another follower tackled him saying why was he denying his motherland despite promoting the African culture.
Burma Boy then replied that though he stays in Nigeria and love his people, he does not make money from Nigeria.
Then another follower told him that he was given money by Nyesom Wike during his home coming concert. Burna Boy would not easily give up as he noted that only the artist who performed during the concert were given money.
Since then he has been getting replies as some people noted that he started his career in Nigeria, while others noted that Nigerians do stream his songs too. Check out few of them below.
