‘I was never credited for writing Sista Afia’s songs’ – Ayesem

Rapper Ayesem says artist Sista Afia neglected to recognize him for the tunes he composed for her.

He affirmed that he composed five tunes for the Jeje hitmaker, including her diss track to rapper Freda Rhymz, You Got Nerves, however, he never got the credit.

Beside You Got Nerves, Ayesem composed Slay Queen, Corner including Kelvyn Boy, Asuoden highlighting Kuami Eugene, and Paper including Victor AD, for Sista Afia.

Even though Ayesem was not perceived officially by the artist for the rapper's pen game on You Got Nerves, the reality of the situation was in the long run revealed — and that tragically caused a fracture among Ayesem and Medikal. This was because a cross-part of people in general assumed Ayesem was dissing Medikal, underhandedly.

Independent of Ayesem's endeavors and the outcome of the melodies he composed for her, he guaranteed Sista Afia "never got a telephone to call me to say 'thank you," he told KMJ.

In this manner, out of the Koti hitmaker's reverence for Sista Afia, he later chose to give out a few extra melodies he had kept in touch with the artist free of charge, however, he had a shift in perspective since he felt his signal would go "neglected."

In the meantime, the rapper guaranteed he would not stand up to the Weather hitmaker about the matter because of the relationship he had with her.

"I chose not to discuss this since I felt she was a sister," said Ayesem. "I like Sista Afia due to her voice. She is strong about singing. I preferred her from the very beginning so I simply needed to help her," he affirmed.

Sista Afia is yet to answer Ayesem's cases.
