Nana Aba Anamoah's fans and Ghanaians have been kept in the dark for a very longtime now. Most Ghanaians know Nana Aba Anamoah as "Nana Aba Anamoah" but just this morning she revealed to Ghanaians that, this name is not her actual or main name. She also added her tribe to make it simple for her fans to understand.
The general manager of GHOne TV took to her twitter handle this morning to reveal to Ghanaians that, she is a Fante and an Ewe. This is something that most Ghanaians do not about the popular media personality and philanthropist.
If she hadn't revealed this Ghanaians would never have known his tribe. You might have an idea that she is a fante because of her name but you will never know that she is an Ewe.
She wrote, " I'm Fante/Ewe."
And she further on added that, her Fante name is Nana Ama and her Ewe name is Mawuena.
She said, "My Fante name is Nana Ama. Ewe name is Mawuena."
Nana Aba Anamoah also revealed her birth name. She said her birth name is Rosemond Nana Aba McEwan-Anamoah. But she decided to choose Nana Aba Anamoah to make life easy for her.
She wrote, " Name given at birth: Rosemond Nana Aba McEwan-Anamoah. Name chosen to make life easy: Nana Aba Anamoah."
Below is Nana Aba Anamoah's post on her twitter platform this morning.
Now Ghanaians know that, Nana Aba Anamoah is An Ewe and can be called Davi "Mawuena." This is really hilarious.
