The Ghanaian local movie industry termed as Kumawood has really entertained Ghanaians and channeled out couple of stars and celebrities over the years. Right from the days of Bob Santo and Judas, to Agya Koo and it came to Kwaku Manu and then Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin. These names mentioned were once the face of the Kumawood movie but as it stands, the industry is almost on the verge of collapsing.
Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin is among the few people who have taken it upon themselves to still produce movies and series, despite the challenges facing the movie industry. He has so far produced about three series already airing on United Television. The actor is on set shooting another series dubbed “PapaNo”.
In this series he used ace actors like, Grace Omaboe known as Mame Dokonor, Adjoa Smart, Oboi sigi and others. Ghanaians have praised him for constantly doing his best to revive the movie industry, and also casting the old actors.
