Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda, better known by her stage name MzVee, as a Ghanaian singer, afropop, dancehall and R&B artiste was an the A-listed female artiste until she decided to go into hibernation for two years. According to the former Lynx Entertainment signee, she got depressed along the way and had to call it a quit to strategically position herself again for the tasks ahead.
MzVee whose debut solo album featured several hit singles including 'Borkor Borkor', 'Natural Girl' and 'Dancehall Queen' was a sensation before she went into the 'freezing' mode and her preceding collaboration(s) with colleague Lynx Entertainment record label folks - KiDi and Kuami Eugene was just fantastic!
Well, since she came back from the self imposed hibernation, she has been doing okay and everything seems perfect now. Her recent appearance on Empress Nana Ama McBrown's United Showbiz program on United Television (UTV) helped throw more light on what she has been up to. Her performance there too gave the audience and/or spectators the morale boost to be sure that they now have their superstar back.
The only troubling issue about MzVee's comeback now is how she spends more time taking photos and posting them on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and other platforms instead of entering the recording booth to sweep the fans off their feet.
Could she be having an artist block now or she's just being lazy?! What do you make of this? Kindly share your thoughts with us.
