Kuami Eugene and Kwame Yogot have been accused of the song 'stealing' from Michael Ansi, an artist of the Gospel. Biibi Besi, released in February 2021 by Kwame Yogot, and featured Eugene, is the main song in this charge.
Ansi said that his song was published some 5 months early than Yogot's release date, in September 2020 when he spoke to Tony Best on Akoma FM.
He stated that for what he called a violation of his rights, he intended to take action. "The Biibi Besi goes through my music, and if someone else uses that in a different song, it means that my rights to the song are infringed," Ansi added.
The media reported before that Kuami Eugene was going to be a legend such as Amakye Dede, Kojo Ansi, and Daddy Lumba, in an interview.
He indicated in a new interview with KMJ from Joy Prime that he knows that he will not be a demanded musician for eternity, but he is quite certain that the artist will have equal regard.
Having previously won the bragging rights, he had earlier boasted of the strong chance of continuing his reign as an artist of the year at the next Ghana Music Awards.
